Install guide

This guide walks through the Windows beta install flow in plain language so customers know what to expect before setup starts.

Step-by-step setup

1
Download PolyPilot.

Use the download button on this website. If your browser warns that the file is not commonly downloaded, choose Keep so the installer remains available.

2
Approve Windows SmartScreen.

Because this beta is not code-signed yet, Windows may show a protection screen. Click More info or Read more, then choose Run anyway or Install anyway.

3
Choose the install location.

The default folder is recommended, but customers can choose a different location if needed.

4
Let PolyPilot install its components.

Setup may install WSL, Ubuntu, Bullpen, and PolyPilot components. This can take several minutes, especially while Ubuntu downloads.

5
Sign back in after restart.

If Windows restarts, PolyPilot should continue automatically after sign-in. If it does not, click the PolyPilot Dashboard launcher again to resume.

6
Open the dashboard.

After installation completes, click the launcher. It starts or repairs the local dashboard and opens whatever default browser is set on the PC.

7
Add your license and authenticate Bullpen.

Paste your license key, follow the Bullpen reauth prompt if needed, then configure your copy-trading settings.

Why the warning appears

The beta installer is not code-signed yet, so Windows may warn before running it. This is expected during beta testing. We plan to add code signing before a wider public release.

Trading risk disclosure

Copying other traders does not guarantee wins, profits, or positive returns. PolyPilot is a tool for automation and risk management, but all trading involves risk. Markets can move quickly, copied traders can make losing trades, and you may lose some or all of the money you choose to trade. You are responsible for reviewing your settings, position sizes, and risk limits before running the bot.
